The bombing of the Gaza Strip by Israel is all the news at present. I however have no opinion on the situation except that innocent civilians are dying whilst Hamas and Israel continue their ideological struggle.
This is a hot bed issue. The Muslims and the Jews have been at each other for centuries. It is not something I will be commenting on.

Here is a video from the Israeli military’s YouTube Channel showing footage of air strikes on Hamas militants. A spokesperson for the Israel Military said they have set up the Channel and posted about 10 videos to bring their side of the story to the world.

The State of Israel ( backed and financed by the governments of USA, UK, France and Australia) is DOOMED. They might win a battle but they won’t win the war – the corporate British/US Empire is being seen for what it is – money hungry vile terrorists. Christianity ,insatiable greed, profit and wars for resources are closely linked.

What it tells you Margaret is that if you were having a dispute with your neighbour and they started lobbing up to 60 missiles a day on your farm, you probably like them to stop.
Or maybe you’d think that was OK.

Steve you forget the bit where you used to own your neighbour’s land, in fact it was the best bit of your land, but after a war mostly somewhere else in the world some one else decided to give all the best bits of your land to a group of people who used to live there about 2000 years ago, and who in the time since have decided they want more of your land and move in further with the financial and military backing of the world’s superpower on the basis of them generally not liking you or your family.
Seriously this conflict is much much more complex than you have described. You could easily say there would be no more conflict if Israel was given back to the rightful owners. (not that I would endorse that viewpoint either).

“The Muslims and the Jews have been at each other for centuries” – that is the standard shut down all discussion answer I have heard a lot lately – I wonder Steve why you didn’t mention the extreme evangelical fundamentalist Christians particularly in the US but many here too who are the problem in number , power and financial backing and they like the status quo and don’t really want a two state solution they want a much larger state – they want to kill enough Palestinians and scare the rest of them out of Gaza and into Jordan and Egypt. Charming sort of christianity we have – I’m sure Jesus would be proud of we so-called christian nations !!
