Myth Busted – Australia Exports Just 22% of Ag Production not 80%
Australia exports 80% of it’s Agriculture production is a long held view by governments of all persuasions. That leads to the cynical view that we can do without 3 out of 4 of our farmers.
Independent research has now revealed that that figure and all Ag & Trade policies that have flowed with are a myth. We export just 22% of or Ag production.
With a growing population, Tree Clearing legislation that blocks forever the opening up of new productive land and the buy back if irrigation water and country leading to a shrinking of Australian Ag it won’t be long and we will produce less that we consume as a nation.
What a political disgrace that will be.
