  1. Our Prime Minister is not without baggage, as evident by the cloaked but ongoing Heiner Affair or “Shreddergate”.

Senator Barnaby Joyce tried very hard to present documentation to the Queensland Parliament on this item (see Hansard, Queensland Parliament – a Google search will find it, search Heiner Affair, Hansard)

China has great interest in the Australian market in terms of long-term access to energy and raw materials. (PM Kevin Rudd)
(Notice – no mention of meat, dairy or farm produce)

We have great interest in greater access to China’s market in goods and in services,” he said.(PM Kevin Rudd)
(Like paying China to sequester our carbon)

  2. He’s not only foolish he is POSITIVELY DANGEROUS to Australia. He is directed by Murdoch and similar corporate elite and he is fast tracking a Australia-China free trade agreement. He has got 2 main policies , a carbon trading scheme in Australia and to place Australia in a Asia Pacific Union.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd met Chinese president Hu Jintao for an hour-long discussion in Washington yesterday, just hours before flying home to Australia.
And they will both be at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders summit in Lima, Peru, next weekend, and at East Asia Summit in Thailand next month.

Mr Rudd said such close cooperation was needed at times of global uncertainty.

“We discussed how we could adopt a fresh approach to speeding up the conclusion of the Australia-China free trade agreement, both in order to accommodate the importance of investment links between our two countries and the trade in goods and service,” he said.
