  1. Hey Ray, I can just picture Dancing With the Stars – without the stars. Not surprising “some people haven’t caught up with the science” How could God (sorry Kevin Rudd), fading rock stars, The Gorical and the mainstream media all be wong, er, wrong?
At least your Greens candidate turned up. Here in Gladstone, the carbon capital of the Southern Hemisphere, we have a Greens candidate who doesn’t live here, hasn’t visited, but has heard all about Baffle Creek more than 100 km south and in another electorate.

  2. This morning, I attended the Central Gold Coast Chamber Of Commerce Breakfast meeting, and all the candidates (except the sitting Labor member) were present.  They had 5 minutes each and took questions.  However, none had an answer to my question, especially the Greens candidate, although I saw some amazing footwork.

My question was:  Now that only 11% of people believe that CO2 is the real problem, science is proving it is not the problem and Global Warming can be measured and proven to be a farce, how long will it be before the focus is taken off CO2 and applied to atmospheric and other forms of pollution instead, and if an ETS is introduced and the science proves beyond doubt it was the wrong strategy, who will take responsibility for reimbursing those people and businesses disadvantaged by its introduction?

It might seem funny, but there are still some people, apparently a couple of politicians amongst them, who haven’t caught up with the science and are blindly following Penny Wong!  Amazing how the tide can turn so quickly!  It turned out to be a very interesting brekky!
