About The Seller:

I worked on and managed properties for Australian Agricultural Company for twenty three years before owning and operating grazing properties in Western Queensland. I moved to the Sunshine Coast area a few years ago and am currently living in Gympie and selling rual properties and farms with Raine & Horne Gympie. I am very happy assisting people in locating and purchasing a suitable property in a new area.

Item Description:

One thirty acre dam and eight ponds ranging in size from half a hectare to one hectare plus a new two hectare dam. Underground mains provide irrigation for the orchard and a large pumping system is used to transfer water between dams or to refill when necessary. Water is connected to the main house, gardens and cottages. The ponds are equipped with large drainage pipes designed to open and clean or to drain ponds at any time. There are several extra dams.
Improvements:
Very comfortable three bed room home with spectacular views looking over the orchard and the water.

Approximately 3,000 peach trees and approximately 2,000 Kensington Pride mango trees (40 acres) have been established and are all producing. A further 1,200 young peach trees will come in to production next season. Of these peach plantings the majority are a new variety, which has large size fruit with good colour and taste and are in great demand from marketing agents and their consumers. All peaches are harvested about two months early, return premium prices and are marketed under the farm brand name. Land has been prepared for planting a further 16 acres of peach trees and the root stock has been ordered.
Comments:
This 215 acre rural property provides an investment opportunity of a life time and is ideally suited for the Syndicate Buyer. It has excellent income from a working orchard plus an unique tourism venture. When the business is fully developed very substantial profits can be expected. An area has been set aside for an 1100 metre air strip.
Located in a fifty inch rainfall area the property is within one hours drive of Noosa and Fraser Island and twenty five minutes drive from Gympie.
The reliable annual rainfall combined with suitable soil and micro-climate is ideal for fruit production and peaches in particular. Water is a feature and central to the aesthetics of the property with its enormous dam, other dams and ponds. The six cottages are supplemented by approval by the local Shire Council to erect a further six 2 bed room self contained tourist cottages at a later stage and the property zoning is “Tourist Facility”. The villas will be ideal for holiday makers, health farm participants and for fishing parties. Due to the accessibility to numerous centers of population, the property will make a perfect holiday retreat or host farm. Potential income from the villas is likely to be considerable. Guest activities include, assisting and working in the orchards, fishing, swimming, boating, bird watching or just to get away to a quiet and peaceful location. A guest heated swimming pool will cater for cooling off after the days activities in both winter and summer.
This will be a very special experience, not only for Australians, but for our many visitors from other parts of the world who travel through Queensland each year.
The property joins the State Forest so there will be no further development.
There is no flooding and the property.
The property is to be sold with a full list of plant and equipment on a “walk in walk” out basis as a going concern.
Advice on all aspects of the farm operation is available to potential Buyers.
Highly motivated Sellers are keen to sell and will look at all reasonable offers.
