Grahame Rees 0428 953925
Grahame grew up on the family property at Ivanhoe in western NSW. On completing my schooling, I spent two years at Longreach Pastoral College before moving back and to run a family sheep operation at Ivanhoe. In 2002 we moved to Bathurst with my wife Ros and it was during this time I decided to teach Jim Lindsay’s popular Low Stress Stockhandling school. After traveling to the US with Jim & Rod to learn Bud Williams’s Marketing, I quickly understood this was information the Australian livestock industry desperately needed. So we sat down and put together the KLR Marketing school a 2 day program that turns the theory into a practical application of Bud’s marketing methods.
I believe this information is the key to ensuring a profitable livestock business. Developing the KLR Mastermind program has allowed us to provide the support to KLR graduates with online tools, market reports and teleconference's.
Grahame believes the Farm Ready training subsidy will assist Australian livestock producers seeking to get the edge on marketing thier livestock. |

Rod Knight 0429 464857
In 1986 Rod spent 4 months in the USA and Canada studying beef production, processing and marketing. He worked as Executive Assistant to the chairman of the NSW Meat Industry Authority and in 1993 become a producer elected board member of the Authority. Rod, his wife Isobel and their three children ran their beef breeding and fattening operation at Binnaway. Rod returned to the US in 2003 with Jim & Grahame to study under Bud Williams and develop Buds’ marketing techniques for Australia. Now based at Tamworth Rod predominantly trades sheep, lambs, cows & young cattle using the Sell/Buy methodology and has traded futures for the past 7 years. Through Rod’s involvement in the KLR Marketing School and Low Stress Stock Handling School he has a natural teaching ability balanced with real life practical experience to encourage
producers to consider different approaches to managing their livestock and their operations |

Jim Lindsay 0427 417259
Jim and Terry Lindsay run a breeding and trading operation (sheep & cattle enterprise), in north western Queensland. After this marketing method was introduced to us by Bud Williams, it has provided our business with a unique tool for our livestock business. It has been a valuable experience in terms of being able to control profit. The principals of KLR have contributed towards our business vision and we have a trading strategy that for the past 3/4 years has achieved +35% net. The paradigm shift has been huge, and created a change in thinking that gave us additional insight and understanding, to now focus on what we can control: - pasture, product and profit. |
