The Bernborough Droughtmaster Stud has been offering premium quality Droughtmaster cattle to the Cattle Industry since it was established by the Birchmore family in 1985.

ABOUT OUR CATTLE
Sire selection has always been with the aim of complementing the herd, rather than chasing particular bloodlines. This has resulted in a range of genetics which is constantly evolving.
Temperament is top priority with heavy selection for fertility, structural soundness and carcase traits.
Lines of yearling steers are sold each year, usually on Auctions Plus, while the bulk of the heifers go to the annual Diamintina Droughtmaster Sale in Winton.
