I saw this video about March this year and thought it was very funny. What I realise now is how chillingly accurate their satirical predictions are.
This is hilarious - scary - how can two British comedians see and predict the unfolding crisis with such clarrity yet none of the powerbrokers, politician could?
This is an excellent video / audio of the Worlds Greatest Investor talking about his $3 billion investment in GE and the Wall Street Bail Out.
I consider Warren Buffet (the Oracle of Omaha ) to be one of the wisest people in the world and he has some great advise in these times of financial turmoil.

The worlds “centre of democratic capitalism” the USA economy is failing. I don’t know if the shift in global power will be to China, Russia or the European Union but its happening.
Here is the full 12 minute and 56 second “Economic Crisis” speech delivered to the US people by President George Bush on Wednesday the 24th of September 2008. Not since the great depression of 1930’s have we heard a US Presidential address like this.
Today Friday the 26th the US congress has still not approved the Presidents “rescue plan” which involves using $700 billion Tax payer dollars to take “toxic debt” off banks and financial institutions books.
I’m inspired to share this video with you by a comment that I made in trying to discourage any discussion of Israeli / Palestine, Jews, Arab antisemitic issues on Agmates Forums. As you will gather I feel very strongly about these issues: The comment:

I’m no expert on the middle east, but I do know there is bugger all love lost between the Jews & and Arabs or is it the Jews and the Muslims.
Either way, it is not something I have any interest in discussing on Agmates. I’ve been to Dachau Concentration camp in Germany, seen the gas chambers. One of the most disturbing days of my life.
The absolute gut wrenching disgust I felt for the human races to ability to commit genocide against another ethnic group based on religious beliefs, skin colour or culture is a manifestation of mankind’s purest evil.
We in Australia have no concept of the madness that grips a nation of people who engages in or condones ethnic cleansing i.e. Nazi Germany, Cambodia, Kosavo, etc. etc, etc
So if you don’t mind - lets not go there on this forum?

James Blunt - No Bravery: Blunt was a Lieutenant in the NATO force that responded to reported human rights abuses by Yugoslavian forces in Kosovo. He wrote this song as a result of what he saw.
I’ll admit this song stirs very strong emotions every time I hear it.

On Channel Nines Today show this week Australia’s sole surviving One Nation State MP Rosa Lee Long is calling for Corporal punishment to be reintroduced to QLD schools.
Channel Nine wants capital Punishment for unruly school students.
Wikipedia definition of Corporal Punishment: “is the deliberate infliction of pain intended to punish a person or change his/her behavior.”
Wikipedia definition of Capital Punishment: “also known as the death penalty, is the execution of a person by the state as punishment for a crime.”
If channel nine has its way you may want to get your children out of State run schools. Hehe.
Should we bring back the cane / strap / black board duster or any blunt instrument capable of being wielded or thrown by a teacher as they were in my school days to keep us in line.
