At last the development work on the Agmates site is finished. I know our Agmates members have had trouble keeping up with the constant development and I’m actually suffering from development exhaustion myself.
I started out two years ago with a vision in mind of what the site would look like and its there now. I won’t be making any more changes.
Its been a work in progress. The alternative would have been to spend a millions of dollars and get it all set up and then launch it.- I kid you not that it would have taken millions of dollars to develop the site to where it is now. Just look at the Grocery Choices web site that the Australian government spent $13 million on developing. It never worked and has been taken down.
But I’ve developed it as we have gone along and now it’s finished.
The Agmates site is unique and contains 4 parts:
- E-traders – Unique search engine driven business web sites
- Trader – Display / classified ads & Auction listings.
- Agmates News Blog
- Agmates Social Community.
I feel sorry for our loyal members that I’ve had to drag along through the 2 year development phase. It’s just the way its had to be.
But I promise we have finished and you can now use it with confidence. There is a huge amount of features on the site. To many to describe in detail. All I can suggest is that it will be a journey of discovery for each member as they use it in their business and personal lives.
One thing you can trust is that it is a safe and secure environment for you to expand your online presence, be it business or pleasure.
I’m aware that many of our members are relatively computer illiterate. Agmates offers the best opportunity to teach yourself the new technology. The rest of the world is miles ahead of rural and regional people in using this technology, but as a group and with each others support and the Agmates platform we can catch up quickly.
From the start I’ve always relied on the fact that if we built our community members and users a reliable, safe, useful and interesting place to inhabit online then our members would be our best sales force in recommending it to their friends.
That’s worked really well up to now and I don’t see why that will change. There is nothing else on the web like Agmates.
