image The AgeRain fills dams, tanks and hearts | The Age : In south-east Melbourne, Devon Meadows vegetable grower Peter Cochrane said he received 76 millimetres in two days, which had filled his dam. “It’s been brilliant. Any sort of rain at this time of year is just brilliant,” he said. “We have had good run-off, it’s allowed all the growers in the area to fill the dams. You could not get a better Christmas present.” Mr Cochrane, who grows carrots, spring onions and beetroots …

Three hundred merino ewes were taken sometime between Sunday, November 23 and Sunday, December 7. The flock is valued at about $15,000.
