Queensland has just finished a week of being pounded on three separate evenings by wild intense tropical storms (just like the good old days).
More than 4,000 homes have been damaged (mostly in South East QLD), 300 of them with substantial damage and 80 are uninhabitable. The repair bill for houses, roads bridges and infrastructure is estimated at around $500 million. Sadly but fortunately only one person has died.
