Agriculture Lobby group AgForce is urging AgForce members and those that aren’t to register as repondents to this claim.

From an email sent to AgForce members:

(if you) have received a notice from the National Native Title Tribunal with regard to the Native Title Application - Bidjara People, please send a copy of your cover letter and a signed Form 5 to John Stewart, AgForce Queensland, Po Box 13186, Brisbane, Qld, 4003 or fax to AgForce on (07) 3236 3077 or contact the AgForce South West office on (07) 4654 3675.

Local Government Authorities within the area subject to the claim are the Banana Shire Council, Barcaldine Regional Council, Blackall -Tambo Regional Council, Central Highlands Regional Council, Murweh Shire Council, Paroo Shire Council, Quilpie Shire Council and Roma Regional Council.

If you own a property in the subject area it is vital that you register as a respondent to the claim. It is the ONLY way you can have a voice on this vital issue. You have until the 18th of February to apply.

QLD rural lobby organization AgForce is the logical group, to co-ordinate and lodge the application on your behalf, regardless of if your a member or not.

All landholders in the affected area need to join forces as a single united entity to ensure their property rights are not trampled upon in this claim. I my opinion you’d be misguided not to accept the AgForce offer or representation, considering the extensive resources AgForce have at their disposal.

For more information contact AgForce’ s John Stewart on 3236 3100 or mobile 0427 167849.
