The things you have to do nowdays to sell a good wine.
AUSTRALIAN Vintage, maker of the popular McGuigan range of wines, has set up real-time carbon footprint reporting tools at the behest of one of its largest suppliers, Britain’s Tesco supermarket chain.

As with all industry pioneers we hope they don’t go broke trying to satisfy an oversea’s customers crazy fad marketing. My bet is that McGuigan did not get paid anymore for their wine, they just got to keep the order, with the added cost of the carbon tracking.
“Tesco wanted to know what we were doing to reduce our carbon footprint,” Mr Ryan Klose said.
“We’re taking a pioneering role in this and trying to lead as an innovative supplier,” he said.
Have your say.
