It premiers tonight and I can’t wait to see it.
Here’s one of the first critiques.
HE SET himself an enormous challenge, but Baz Luhrmann has pulled off an incredible film in Australia.
Australia features some of the most beautiful photography ever seen in an Australian film, from the Bungle Bungles in the Kimberley to the Northern Territory in the midst of the wet season.
A love letter to the Australian landscape and our history, Australia has international blockbuster written all over it.
Claire Sutherland
Are you going to see it?
When did Cattle stations become Ranchs .
I don’t think I am negative.
(Margaret - I have removed what you have written here. - its just totally inappropriate - what you are doing, perhaps unintentionally is spamming the Agmates forums with that same message. You know what they say - say it once … saying the same thing over and over again is nagging, So as moderator of the Agmates site I’m your personal spam filter. I will allow you to say that stuff only when in context to the article or others comments - otherwise I will remove it. Agmates memebers are complaining that you are just posting the same thing on every story - thats spam in my books and its extremely annoying to others)
As for Australian actresses Rachel , Kerry and Sigrid are brilliant and beautiful - Nicole leaves me cold.
And the oscar for best actress goes to Von for her portrayal of Margaret.
Haven’t seen it yet but I have heard people say they werem’t too impressed with Nicole Kidmans acting . I have never been impressed with her acting - she always seems like she is acting.
Rachel Ward, Kerry Armstrong, or Sigrid Thornton or some up and coming brilliant unknown would have been much better gals for the part I think.
Kidman is way too Hollywood these days they say.
Margaret. Didn’t your mother ever teach you if you can’t say something good about something don’t stay anything at all. I wish she had at least we’d not have to put up with your negative views across absolutely every issue on agmates.
