Just received this email from Agmates reader Natalie Williams of “Granville” Jericho:
“Hi Steve,
Photos of a JD livestock truck near Emerald. Amazingly, the driver survived, there wasn’t a mark on the road, and he completely missed the bridge by about half a metre.
JD Livestock cart our cattle. I got held up at the Theresa Creek bridge for about 30 minutes at 6.00am and nearly missed my plane to Brisbane!!
Sadly all the cattle had to put down. There is a collection for the driver, Caltex at Emerald is collecting money for him.
