Where is the Wool?

The Uniform worn by our Athletes at the Beijing Olympics has been described as Kath & Kim off to the Gym or a sucked water ice block. People are asking wheres the Green and Gold?

.

What we are asking is where is the Wool?

This country was built on the sheep’s back. Our wool growers are going through an incredibly tough time, with sheep numbers plummeting to a 90 year low. What an opportunity missed to show case our great wool fibre to over 4 billion world wide viewers. Thanks for nothing AOC and designer / manufacturer company Sports Craft.

The track suit top is Nylon, made in China of course. The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has a lot to answer for. I for one felt appalled by the the outfit - ‘what a blue Nylon track suit’

What does that tell the world about our culture and heritage? How about you?

How disgustingly short sighted of whoever was in charge of the design. They look so wrinkled and scruffy.
